turbo maintence

i have a old toyota turbo sr5 and need to know how to maintence the car. it runs and all but sometime it dies and the engine sound weired sometime when i accelerate.

The maintanance for the car is the same as any other car. The only difference is you have a turbo on there. Why dont you just read the owners manual.

Maintenance is the same as any other car.
But if you have a significant amount of mileage on the car, you may look into rebuilding the turbo and a tune up.

change your oil every 3K miles rather then waiting to 5K. thats about it, other then not driving your car as soon as you turn it on (let it warm up a minute or more depending on the temp outside) and let it cool down by sitting in the car with it on 30 - 60 seconds before turning it off.

sounds like your turbo is gone get that checked out....get a turbo timer, and make sure u use copper spark plugs(the cheapest ones u can find)
