Something sparked this idea....

Yunno, reading the message about Pinkytoe gettting a job at Honda sparked a great idea....We should go to all the Honda dealerships near us and bring 7thGen stuff....yunno, information. If someone were to make kind of a flyer thing, you know, they could hand it out at the dealership, around the brochures. Of course we would have to put a warning like "Honda does NOT warrant anything of the DIY or aftermarket upgrades available to you on this site." I think it would be a great idea in order to get many more new members....who's with me!?

Honda will not promote anything that will void the warranty or performance, esp here in the US. Look at all the upgrades you see in the car they sell, it is all comestic. Just a thought.

There's many Honda dealerships out there that sell cars already modded! So WTF? I know one in Baton Rouge that sells them with suspension, CAI, headers, exhaust...the works! So I'm gonna do some research.......

WONT WORK!! Most dealerships will want some sort of money or profit to promote something like that. I know the dealership down here actually sponsors some guys and any winnings they make the dealership gets half!!! All dealerships are crooks!!!

Most businesses won't let you pass out or display materials (ie- pamphlets, business cards, etc...) other than those published by themselves. For most businesses it's looked upon as not being part of their brand. If you guys want to try it... good luck. I think Subrage's idea has more potential. I go to SDSU and just about every other car in their parking lot is a 7th gen Civic. (It's a bit of an exaggeration, but so true...)

I see many 7thGens around here in parking lots all over, but the thing is, I did leave a 7thGen note on a windsheild of a silver coupe, and it was a young girl driving and when she read the note, she threatened me for touching her property....dumb me, because when I saw her read the note, I went over to her and said I was a fellow 7thGen and that I had left the note on her car. She didn't care about aftermarket, she just wanted a CAR. I didn't get a chance to talk to my dealership over here, but they hand out ClubSi.com flyers and they also have ClubSi.com keychains and stuff...I don't know about if they have a money deal with ClubSi or not, but I do know they sell give out there stuff.

I was thinking along the same lines as Subrage, I am going to do that but have been to lazy to print them up.
But it sounds like a good idea to me.

Yeah some people can be crazy like that when you leave a note on their car. I dunno why she screamed at you, it was a harmless mistake.
