Iis this an upgrade?
well, I got the comprehensive bill on the repairs that are going to be done to my civic, it comes out to be $9,800 including labor. anyways, thats not the point
I was looking through it, and i see the new headlights ordered, and underneath it said, hedlights, halogen-premium upgrade, maybe they saw that I had some aftermarket bulbs and are giving me better bulbs than stock, cause if they were just stock bulbs, wouldn't it just say replace OEM, and not Premium upgrade? hmmmmmmmm

I think it depends on how they have them listed in the system, but it does seem strange that they would be list as that tough, maybe you are getting a freebie cause someone made a mistake.

Just be quick, agile & smart. Dont get hustled, no light compares to stock.
Its like having eye surgery, it'll never be the same, feel me? On the reals, they might slap some discount autopart bulbs in there and hand it to you so make sure you compare and contrast before you drive off.
If you get HID's then I give you props.
if not...

you're just gonna get regular OEM lights...... all new cars come with "Premium Halogen Lights"..... fancy way of saying halogen..
Same crappy clear bulb
Oh and for almost $10,000 in damage...... Why didn't they total your car..... What happened?

Humm interesting yeah I would watch them and make sure that you actually don't get messed with and end up with the stock heads if they are charging you more. Yeah the Acura HID in my mind I don't think is real HID I like the Lexus and Mercedes HID a lot better. But if my car came standard with the Acura HID on my civic I would still take it, I hated my Stock lights
Yeah for the eye surgery I know people who have had it done and people who are still waiting because its still a relatively new thing maybe 50 yrs down the road there could be side affects that is what most people are waiting on.

The Mercedes HID is great, my parents have that on their cars. Like someone else mentioned, why wasn't the car totaled with that much damage? I'm pretty sure my insurance company would total the car with that much damage.
