Allright well im parallel parked at a restraunt when i go out side and see a note on my window. i read it and it says, we may have bumped into your car backing out. and they leave there# . so right away i thought i was screwed. i call them up and they say they will pay for the damages and I threatened to call the cops and all of that. well n e ways it wasnt that bad but i still have to get a new bumper , 400 bucks! so im thinking i can get an aftermarket bumper cheaper and put it on myself. so how would i go about doing so? i wanna get the OEM because it comes painted but from whut ive seen they only sell you the front lip? got n e thing to help me out??

someone took out my whole fender on my moms car when it was parked in the school parking lot... they didn't even leave a note... i eventually found the guy that did it and i pressed charges on his ***... if you hit someone for God's sake leave a note PLZ!!

It was very honorable for the person to leave a note. While it is illegal to hit a car and take off, most people do it anyway.

yeah, i'd be very friendly to this person, he obviously wants to help. The reason I bought my civic is cause someone hit my old car and didn't leave a note. wasn't worth paying to get it repaired.

You are extremely lucky that you got a note left i had a car hit one time and no note no nothing and it was about 1300.00 worth of damage...i had to make my insurance pay no because SOMEONE hit the car i suffer with higher rates [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG]

yeah i couldnt even see it till i read the note... its like a license plate mark that broke through my bumper. Im thinking they were prolly drunk and didnt want the cops comin up and finding out or something like that.
