P0122
P0122
before i drive the jeep , check engine lite on , so i prepare a obd ii reader on my car ,i can see the code and erase the code
i drive honda civic check engine lite on , i found that is p0122 tps sensor , the symptom is when you press gas padel , engine speed up but transmission does not shift to increase speed , you can feel it , put gas the throttle should be open wide andit connect to tps sensor ,so tps sensor must send a signal to car computer pcm ,but pcm did not received tps signal ,pcm did not send signal to s transmission solenoid to change gear
so i check the code and erase the code , engine run good temporary, then i bought the tps sensor to replace it ,i go to ebay to buy one ,i received and try to install ,i found it is the wrong part ,and install my used tps, buy another one , to install , now it working fine

Re: 2004 SE Automatic Transmission problem.
I’d start by checking for other codes. It sounds like P0730 may be present. If that’s the case, you’ll eventually need a new transmission.
If not, do a 3x drain and fill of the transmission fluid. There are threads on here documenting the process. Do not flush the transmission under any circumstances.
