Help P0122 TPS Sensor

well my check engine light has been on for a while and i when a shop and the computer said that my P0122 TPS sensor is not working correctly the mechanic said that the dealership dosent sell it seperately only the unit for about $500 new and does any one know where i can get a cheaper one or how i can fix the problem. my car idles really low then shoots really high anything can help u guys i can always count on u guys thank in advance.

the TB isnt even close to $500, it is around $200 from the dealer, cheaper through the site above.

you have to buy the whole throttle body, the TPS sensor is part of it. Once you replace the TB, it should take care of the problem, again assuming all your wiring is in good shape.

I know it's been a while since you posted this but i'm having the same issue and code (P0122). I went to the link provided (hondaautomotiveparts.com) and was wondering did you purchase all the parts to replace the TB or did you just purchase the TB assembly? Here's the link to what I'm looking at:

you have to get the whole throttle body. go on ebay, they have used ones for $50 that work fine. just be sure you get the correct trans type either auto or manual. thats the only thing that matters.
