I am thinking of upgrading to a new 2 door coupe. I'm currently using SI, but it's only 200 HP and it's a 2010 model, so there is no side camera for assistance in lane change. The 2020 model of Civic SI, I don't like the front head lamp. So I look into the 2017 Accord Coupe. It's very nice.It has everything I wanted.

so if there isn't any upcoming honda accord coupe in 2022 or so, I have to go w/ the 2017. Is there any possibility for honda to make the new accord coupe?

okay, say I want to see all the interior options that is white leather, for the manual transmission, 2017 accord coupe, how would I get a list on that?

I don't know how hard it is to get a 2 door coupe that meets my needs. I go thru Lexus, Acura, honda website, they don't have 2 door that is 4 wheel drive. So the closest I can get is that Accord 2017 2 door. It's front wheel, so at heavy snow, it's screw, but it meets all the other standard that I need.

on related question, on this video, this guy pay ?? $ to tune his Accord by only 20 HP, if you do that, do you still need a new clutch and a new Y?


because the Honda Civic tune is 50HP, and everyone said you do need a new clutch and new Y

as well, w/ the price of Honda accord 2 door coupe, at 278HP, who's going to buy Type R at 305 HP w/ $40K more?

FWD is fine in heavy snow if you have the right tires. I have some studded snow tires on my TSX and I’ve gone through 12+ inches.

My buddy has a ‘13 accord and it’s the same story.

The closest thing Honda has that you’d want is the TL-SH.

we have 3 ft. of snow a few weeks ago. I have Civic SI, it goes nowhere at my back alley. My car mechanics told me the only way to deal w/ that is 4 wheel or all wheel drive. I use the best tires, it's from Russia, called Nokian, it's all weather. I had winter tires before, it gets harden by end of year 3, never try it again.

Snow tires are supposed to last two seasons at best, better at 1.
Coupe, 2 door and 4WD/AWD are either BMW or Audi.
Not even WRX or EVO were two door.

some tires are finland, but my ones are RUssian. I just bought 2 new tires, also Russian. My prev. set is also Nokian made in Russia

Audi / BMW doesn't last, all kinds of problem. Honda is the no. 1 brand, why do you think there is a honda at every corner of any st.?

Honda’s never made an AWD coupe (unless you want to buy the NSX). There have been some custom conversions but they aren’t reliable.

The TL is probably your best bet.
