NEW CIVIC SI..16,988 GETTING CHEAP!
Wow man, i payed more for my 2K1 CIVIC EX, than what the new SI are being priced. Over here in cali, i guess not too many people are buying them so there dropping the prices. It just makes me want to go trade in my civic for the SI, and im really thinking about doing it...since there going so low. 16,988...not bad at all!!!!

I have yet to see on the road. It doesn't look too bad but you really have to throw another few g's at it to make it look tight. I considered trading my sedan but the si just doesn't fit into the family lifestyle. Great price though.

Up here in Canada I was quoted 27-28k for it. I imagine they will drop the price cause its been sitting in the dealers lot now for about a month and hasnt moved. Hell I was one of the few that took it out for a rip. I guess it doesnt help that its the ugly yellow/green color.

They aren't selling at all. I was disappointed with the test drive i took. But if I could get one for under 17K I might have to do it!

My friend who works at a dealer over here on Long Island, told me that they havent sold one yet. Who wants to pay $2,000 over sticker for a hatch.
I talked to my dealer when I test drove one a few weeks ago and he told me that they hadn't sold a single one yet. I think they are beautiful rides. I've always been a fan of hatches. I wish I could find one for 16,988 here....where'd you see that price???
did anyone see the incubus-civic si from that civictour.com? the body kit from that i think it was from APC (AFC? forgot.) was it?
look soooooooooooooooooooo sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet...

Yeah they still haven't sold any of the new SI's over here they are still sitting on the lot lol they want 19K for them so forget that over all I am not impressed with them at all, I will say they look better in person but still not my sort of ride. I would take the 03 Accord Coupe over it and pay the extra cash.

well just a reminder... the ppl that got the first 7th gen civics.. (the ppl that got 2001.. and even 2002).. know how much it sucks to have a new car.. nothing really big in performance is out for our car.. and its been almost 2 years.. now look at the SI.. only maybe 2 months old.. but still you probably wont have many performance parts comming out for atleast a year... and have u seen the SI engine bay?!?!? just as crampped as ours...
i have not seen one SI out on the roads yet!
i cant believe it, so many hondas around here, especially 6th and 7th gen civic, and not a single 7th gen SI
that just shows how overpriced.....and blah they are

I would trade my EX civic for a new SI in a heartbeat, that is if I could find one for 16 brand new.
I originally wanted the SI but I didnt' see my self paying over 20G's for a civic. They handle great and has alot more torque than the SOHC. The int. is way more comfy too and the seats are like butter =). Thats just my opinion though.

I know in this area that Honda is allowing a ton of new dealerships to be created and as a result there are a lot of price wars going on. It's really a great strategy for Honda to keep its quality image.

I personally like the si the only thing i don't like about it is those damn healights they are too big for me, if I would trade my ex for one I would put some eyebrows on them because without them like look like
