i got a ticket for intake and exhaust...i need to find out what i can do about it... can anyone help me??? me and my friend got a ticket for almost the same thing... We need to know what to do... that hella sucks cause hella foalks got cited... need help about tint, and licence plate on the dash... that was hella homosexual!!! why do the cops have to be shch @$$holes??! please help... thanks... what is the penalty for all thoes things..

I do not believe you can do anything about the non carb intake. From what I understand is you can fight it if you have the carb sticker, sounds like you might have been beat this time [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/IMG]

the funny thing is that it's edited.

the intake is probably similar to a fix it ticket where you'll put ur stock box back in, get it signed off, pay a small fine and be on ur way

this is what i'd do...

Buy a CARB legal intake off EBAY for $40.... with the sticker.... put it on and say... looks here.... the intake is CARB legal... the cop didn't ask for proof....

You could probably return the intake or sell it to someone else... either way you have an aftermarket intake with a sticker to use for defense....

The exhaust is another story....

u cannot do anything since ur intake cone is exposed
if u had a ice man intake which is not out for our cars it should be legal since it retains the box for the intake and still draws cold air!

hey i have never heard of such a thing and i do this for a living. one thing you can do is that if you have a picture before the intake and exhaust were put in you can file the ticket to court. then when you go to court tell them that the parts were removed and you were not aware of such a law. they will probably take the ticket off. same as with tinks and other things. its a risk but it works and it wont cost you money. just a sudgestion but if it dont work dont blame be.[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] but it has worked before. but i never said anything.
