nitrous is the key for are civics i think it gets pricy thou i have spent about 1g on 2 kits for my rsx-s and the other on my civic

According to Consumer Reports Test runs,

a Civic EX should be able to beat

any stock Corolla,
Jetta GL or GLS (anything with 1.8T or VR6 written on it, we'll lose)
Saturn CL
Mirage
Ford Focus (some of the lower models)

Not sure, what else, but suprising that Civic can beat a Corolla because it has less hp and it weighs more.

I'd say about any compact car in our price range is fair game. It's usually the driver that will win the race because they are so close to each other performance wise. The only car I want to race is the corolla s.

The corolla only weighs ~40lbs less and only has 3 more hp over the ex. It would be a driver's race in its purest form.

Since were on the subject. My cousin keep buggin me to run his 87 integra. He has a 5 speed with no mods. I have an lx auto with only exhaust. I looked up the specs for his car and they show 113hp/99 tor. He drives o.k. but not great. I am gonna run, but the question is should I put cash on it since that is what he is after. Not really a racer unless I'm in my girls Sentra Spec V. hehe

2K1 Civics also will beat: Older Jettas, last gen Hyundai Tibuiron, some compact pickups, most full size pickups and other 2K1 Civics.
