112 mph

ive been reading on this forum and ive seen people say that they go 125-130 mph. my car cant go faster than 112 mph and i have an 02 Lx in 5 spd. and ive tried it many times, the fuel cuts off, then when i slow down under 112, the fuel cuts in again, and i accelerate until 112 and so on. is it just that other people messed with the fuel cut off or is something wrong with my car lol. thanks

actually mine was at 115mph for my 01 lx coupe....however, since ive replaced the exhaust twice it seems that its not there anymore...i was on the highway playing around with another car and happened to look at my speedo and saw i was doing 121mph.......

maybe my ecu hasnt grown accustomed to my exhaust or something

No the LX is supposed to be 115. Maybe they changed that for '02. Doesn't matter to me because there's no reason to have our cars going that fast.

Off topic...where do you think I can find the rims on that SI Redfog?
BTW, how many miles do you think you should break a Civic EX in before taking it redline or top speed. Thanks a lot!

If I'm not mistaken... it's in the manual... and the manual... if I'm not mistaken (hehe) says 600 miles.
