last minute tuning...

last minute tuning...

my friend just recently timed his stock 93 si hatch 16.44, really bad! so i was like come down and lets do do all that we can do this weekend to at least reach high 15's or mid!! what can we do at the very last moment, low budget, to get better timing this wednesday. this is what we did to his car this weekend:

mangaflow full exhaust
aem cai
msd ignition,coils,cap
agk(something close to that) spark plugs on day of the race
gutted all of interior except parts of dash, except for cutting out the metal, cant be gutted anymore
rollin on blackies
135 octane gas on day of race
5w-30 oil on day of race, really thin and going to be replaced after done running
all water in radiator on day of race, going to be replaced after race


we need sumthin cheap or last minute tricks, no nos!!! please help us out, and dont reply sayin, that should get you into 15's, JUST REPLY WITH TIPS ONLY!!!

a quick thing is taking out the ac. all the radio which i am sure u did. the roof liner inside. the floor carpet. the door panels and all the insulation inside. i cant think of anymore. hope u get those 15's.

ok then u can take out the gas tank and bolt in a small on inside and reroute the fuel lines.

the gas thing doesnt sound like a last minute trick, its cool though, again i gutted everything we could have!!! including spare, please no more gutting question, unless it has to do with the motor

Take out the alternator, but make sure you have fully charged battery before you race.

This is random and i'm asking this b/c i honestly don't know. Is there such thing as 145 octane racing fuel? I man i don't doubt it, but i have never seen above 110 and that was 6$ a gallon.

76 gas station near by my house has i think 135 for 3 a gallon, we only need about less than 2 gallons
