Easiest way to tell is the throttle body is close to the radiator and the exhaust is near the firewall.
You can read the engine code located on the block.

There will also be a k20 stamped into the engine. I know on the R18 engines and I think the K20's there should also be a sticker on the, black, plastic camshaft cover which will also state the engine code.
