Well, so I go back to the track...

And I do bad!
Ok, so here's the story. I installed an AEM CAI, Revo Short Shifter and Rota SUb-zeroes w/ Pirelli P7000's.

My first run I ran a 17.4!
I was racing a SI and absolutely killed him through first gear, I had about a car length and a lahf on him, shifted to second, then I missed third gear! But I was beating the SI. He ran a 16.1.

My next run I didn't try too hard and ran a 16.5. I shifted a little slower because I didn't want to mis-shift.

I plan on going to the track in a few weeks and running again, this time I'll pull 15's(hopefully).

Maybe the weather had something to do with it? Earlier in the year it must have been colder. Now the air is less dense. That could be it.

maybe you should work on your shifting before you start racing otherwise you can lose your tranny. Well, best of luck making better times, keep us informed
