Well, so I go back to the track... And I do bad! Ok, so here's the story. I installed an AEM CAI, Revo Short Shifter and Rota SUb-zeroes w/ Pirelli P7000's. My first run I ran a 17.4! I was racing a SI and absolutely killed him through first gear, I had about a car length and a lahf on him, shifted to second, then I missed third gear! But I was beating the SI. He ran a 16.1. My next run I didn't try too hard and ran a 16.5. I shifted a little slower because I didn't want to mis-shift. I plan on going to the track in a few weeks and running again, this time I'll pull 15's(hopefully). |
you were beating the SI by a car and a half in second?? wow, driver must have sucked!! and he ran a 16.1 and you 17.4?? thats a bit odd? |
Si driver was probly drunk |
How exactly, do you ...*cough* MISS *cough* third?:shake: |
Maybe the weather had something to do with it? Earlier in the year it must have been colder. Now the air is less dense. That could be it. |
yea i am agreeing with grey on this one with the cold denser air. if u do pull a 15.99 or less this time of year u got the best civic to come out of the plant |
that Si driver sucked poor guy :shake: |
<< How exactly, do you ...*cough* MISS *cough* third? >> You let go of the clutch too fast, and it dosent get in gear...that's how. |
maybe you should work on your shifting before you start racing otherwise you can lose your tranny. Well, best of luck making better times, keep us informed |
