Is Getting An Intake Worth It?

So I just want a little more power to my Civic EX Sedan so I'm thinking of an intake. How much does it cost, and is it worth voiding your warranty? How does it effect the car (mpg, car life, how much faster)? What is the price on these things? Thanks for any info. Sorry, I'm a total beginner.

you won't void your warranty if you put it on. if something goes wrong with it on they have to prove that the intake caused it, which it probably didn't.

cost - depends who makes them
warranty - u'll have to ask your dealer, every dealer is different
mpg - u can tell at all
life - hm....SRI wont effect your car life at all...CAI wont either unless u suck H2O into your engine then your car is DEAD
HP- a little probably 2-4 HP

It is more for looks and if you want to add NOS it would be a good investment

Yes it's worth it. Even when you make one yourself. Nyce sound. And a very slight but noticable gain on the low-end torque.

Yes, it's definately worth it! No real drawbacks to owning one. You will feel a tiny increase in power. Injen cai

You can get that same sound by pulling the resonator out and keeping the stock filter box.

Granted the intake looks nicer.
