Curiousity question
So I just acquired a 94 civic coupe ex and it definitely needs some work. It is stock and my question is do I want to start rebuilding and tuning it or save up for an entirely different car. Any feed back would be nice

Swimming in the same water. I just received an 01 LX coupe. I am going to enjoy the project but It's mostly cosmetic so I assume it will be less expensive. Good luck with your decision.

Re: Curiousity question
that car is nice. but its not really as fun to mod/drive as many other cars on the road.
the miata being a great example. a real true budget sports car.
your civic will never handle as good as a RWD car like a miata...
but, its always a learning curve when you mod anything.
so if it comes down to it, and you really really like your civic, then mod it...but in the end, it'll just be a junky civic and not really worthy of anything.

Re: Curiousity question
Well it was free so its already a good start, but I agree with it just being a junky little civic. Just not sure if a car this old is worth throwing the money into or just drive it into the ground

Re: Curiousity question
What kinda work does it need. That'll really help the decision. Even then, civics are easy to work on, so it's a good platform to learn how to do things.
Re: Curiousity question
92-95 model civics are my fav year by far!
Why did you get the car if you are already thinking about your next one?
You will fall in love with this car as I have and they are a dream to work on. easy and cheap mods.
OR
if your not too into it then just make sure its running good (proper tuneup) and then save your money until the time comes when you can upgrade.

Re: Curiousity question
The tittle was handed to me and the car wasnt driving at the time, a little fixing, re-wiring, and $100 later I have it running and has been for a year now. As for works that need to be done, some cosmetic (mostly done with a hammer right now) and now Im finding electrical issues just starting today. I have to agree I am falling inlove with the car, I was jsut unsure if modding this one was worth it
