What percent tint should I get for my car?
Hi so I have a 93 Honda Civic and I'm trying to decide what tint I should get.
I'm really leaning towards getting 20% all around and 15% in the back two small windows. I have tan interior. Or do you think I should just go with a 25% all around and 20% in the back two small windows. I live in Seattle and I think legal limit is 35% but that is soo light..

i think 35% gives the best overall balance. dark enough during the day to block some sun, light enough to see at night. anything lower and your windows will look black on cloudy days and you will have a hard time driving at night. and always get the same percent all around. it will look way better than doing the rears darker.
Re: What percent tint should I get for my car?
I have 5% all the way on my 99 si. It is the third car that I have owned and put it on. I really enjoy having the tint, however it is a hassel. I lived in tacoma for 3 years and I would do 25-30%. What I did with 5% is totally unnecessary. The hassel of being pulled over for it is a pain in the a**. 25-30% is dark enough to give you the function and look , while still having enough light that you can see out at night and will be less likely to be bothered about it by our friends in blue.

I'd do your 35 percent on front windows, and go 5 percent on the rest. I live in ohio where our min is 50 percent (which sucks horribly lol) Possibly look into the different types of tint for the mirrored or something different? You never know what you can find.
