Rims first, it looks a bit high but then when you get it lowered

wait to buy both first cuz u might not know how much to drop, if u buy a prokit and u buy like 17 or 18 there might be a big gap, well if u had one to choose i suggest coilovers that way u can adjust it to ur future rims

Hey CivicS, just be aware of what's involved if you decide to change your struts: Tech procedure for our Civic's struts

This will definitely give you the best comfort/performance compromise but it is not an easy mod.

For a quick and inexpensive fix, you might consider either plain or coilover lowering springs. I'd also suggest getting your rims installed first.

thanks:Silver2k1Dood

I know it is not a easy mod, well I will get it done by Pro.
If I get 16" rims first with 205/55/16 tire without drop (dont wanna mess up the odometer), how's the look.....SUV type?

thanks

get rims!!!! i'm not a big fan of lowered civics, especially ones that are almost draggin' on the ground, but it is *your* car and entirely up to you.

rims first.....if you had your car dropped and you put 18s on it it might be too low....then the rims could rub against the car
