This may be the blank canvas I need. $3500, not too bad. What do you think?

My opinion? Corvette Engine. LOL

I like the idea of a blank canvas. You can do ANYTHING. I wonder how much building it completely will cost...

Should you go for it? If you have the money and seriously want something to work on big time, then hell, why not?

EDIT - Nevermind...didn't realize this was for a race car project. If so, man go for it if you have the money/resources.

Re: I Think I've Found My Next Project Car

I saw this news release yesterday. I thought it was pretty awesome. It would be the way to go if you wanted to build any sort of track beast or whatever. I was checking out motors on Honda's website and a crate k20/24 from the JDM type R was between $5000-6000 so for under $10k you have a shell and a motor anyway haha. Then build ground up from there.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I'll never own an Exige or Atom, but this'll do.

As for the F, the troubles is... It seems it is already on the top of what it can achieve... Many tried to get more, very few if none could get more from it without compromising bottom end. The K seems to be easier to get more without compromising too much. (that was also the reason the first ever K-Swap happened on the s2k.

Nooooow, if you talking about a F swap with tranny... huuuunh! yeah!
