For those of you with 18X7.5 rims...

I was wondering what size and brand tire you went with and how do you like em. I have 18X7.5 Racing Hart Z500s and I was thinking about putting 215/35/18 Kumhos on them. Is 35 too low of a profile for everyday driving? Will it rub if I put 40s?

I don't have them yet, but I'm getting 18x7.5" Giovanna Kobe's; I'm trying to decide between Yokohama Paradas and Nittos. I'm going with 215/35/18 because A.) it's closer to stock diameter and B.) decreases wheel gap. From what I understand from research, 40's will not rub, so it really comes down to how the roads are where you live. They're not too bad around where I live, so I'm going with 35's to start. If I don't like it afterwards, I'll switch to 40's, since I'm only dropping it 1.5" anway.

Yeah, the roads I drive on aren't that bad. Right now my car's dropped about 3 inches, and I love the way it looks. I know that either way I'm gonna have to raise it up, but how much more would I have to raise it up if I put 40s? An inch more? Thanks for the info so far guys, keep the comments/advise coming.

40's look like crap. I had them on my 99 Accord. 215/35-18 are the way to go. 18's are not really a big wheel. And with that much side wall of a 40 series on that small of a wheel, it looks kinda bad. I have 18's in the Volk GT-P. And Avon (I think) tires. I also have GC coilovers and they are all the way down. I still want to drop it another inch or so. Point being, go with a 35 series, or I promise you will regret it.

Now, who makes a decent 215/35/18 tire? Does Kumho make that size? I know Pirelli and Yokohama do. What tires do you recommend?
