engine trouble
I've had a oil leak for awhile now and the cause of it is a bad oil pan gasket. Just recently my check engine light came on (flashing) and the shaking is a serious issue. About every three to four days I'll throw a quart of oil in but, there's no visible leak or smoke coming out of my exhaust anymore so I don't know where the oil is disappearing to. The cap and rotor, sparks plugs, and rubber rings inside the head gasket were changed about 10 months ago. I said that because at the time at least two spark plugs where covered in oil. So I thought the sparks just needed to be replaced again but that didn't change anything. It's as if oil is getting into my cylinders. Does anyone have an idea what could be going on with my engine? And what would be the worst case possible?
Also the exhaust is putt putting and when I put my hand to the exhaust very small spots of oil cover my hand. Thank you
