Re: This is my first car i need help
it matters what you are looking to get out of your car.do you want looks, speed or what.speed -exhaust. or put torwds a turbo kit. looks- maybe rims or a sound system. me personaly i spend my money on custome stuff for looks mostly because i get enough speeding tickets and im all stock as far as engine besides my intake.

Re: This is my first car i need help
hmmm.. $500 eh
I would search for a set of 17's on craigslist, I got mine for $150 and lots of other people have managed to get nice rims with good tires for under $300.
A set of lowering springs, Tein or H&R are both good brands that offer springs that would give you a nice drop. That would set you back around $200 unless you can find a used set.
I just order an altezza grill and front lip off ebay for $75, those are really nice additions to the front of your car.
Eyelids are a nice edition to the front of your car as well, I think mine were $15.
Energy Suspension bushings give a big performance increase for only $50, less if you use DIY products.
A strut bar gives a big improvement to handling, Neuspeed and DC ones are great and between $150-200, but they come up for less used fairly often.
SS brakes lines are only $50 on ebay, I haven't tried them, but if you don't want to take a risk you can find them for $95 on corsport. They'll give a huge improvement to braking power.

They are real. If you lower your car plan on getting camber kits and an alignment.

Fix whatever you feel is the biggest problem, what bothers you the most based on how you drive. Up grade to good tires, brakes, suspension is a good starting point when the original stuff wears out. Most performance mods compromise comfort, reliability, or resale value.
Or...
Just save your money for future repairs. Depending on how many miles your car has, and how much of the work you can do yourself, repairs and maintenance get more expensive as the car gets older.

I posted yesterday about a retrofit but it never showed up.
So i'm in the same boat as sleepy, get a retrofit. It'll improve visibility and they look sexy.
Morimoto Mini's only $120. http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...342v0cqn7rppbo
