are VTEC decals dumb?

would it be dumb to put VTEC decals on my silver '01 EX coupe, like down behind the doors where they are on the older civics?

i live in gainesville (university of florida) where there are like 10,000 other silver '01 EX coupes and i just want to do something a little different. i'm a poor college kid though so i can only do something relatively cheap. (i can't afford rims or a body kit right now.) my 7thgencivic.com stickers are on the way so that will help too, as no one else has those.... yet. just wondering what ya'll think.

i've been looking for pics and haven't seen any. if anyone has them i'd like to see a pic. thanks

well, you can clear your headlights for an added cheap fix with style. A VTEC sticker would be pretty cool. just don't get an SOHC Vtec sticker . Also tinted windows...hmmm

<< where they are on the older civics? >>

Only older Civic that had was the Si. Personally, I liked the way it looked so i had a local vinyl shop cut me the same decal for my 2k1 cept SOHC instead of DOHC thats on my Si.

I removed anything that would tell other drivers what my engine has. Took out my "Civic" and "Si" emblem, and if I had a VTEC sticker on it, it would be gone too. That way when people see you, they think you got a DX or something. And when they race you, you just shmoke them and they will be like WTF??? They won't know what hit them... hehehe

I know my limits.... When it's like a 6th gen or 7th gen who has an Si or something, and pulls up beside me revving his car...they'll be thinking it's a 127 vs. 115 hp when really it's a 127 hp vs. 127 hp at least on my car. Haven't dynoed it yet...

thanks for the feedback everyone!

now, where do i go about finding one? would my Honda dealership be a good place? i've seen a few websites that you can order from but they all have the ones that say DOHC VTEC. maybe i'm not looking hard enough.... i will keep searching.

cierra

oh yeah... any suggestions on color? i've got a satin silver metallic EX. i'm thinking black but i'm not positive.
