Heavilly modified cars are a no go for me... actually... any modification kinda turns me off. You know if someone has taken care of the car if the interior is clean and the outside is clean as well. Generally speaking people that modify their cars focus more on modification than on maintenance...

...well i do regular maintenence, but i drive her pretty hard too, and am the typ to heavily mod. i agree with tbohar, in that i wouldn't buy a car that is already moded. you don't know when it's going to fail.

but it's not like this guy is running boost. i'd imagine a bored out engine is nearly as safe as stock. and it "comes with two extra motors and a extra manual trans and a auto trans." for only 1.5k. seems like a good deal. plus you can probabley do a swap for free if the motor goes.

those are bolt-on's. again those arn't really going to add stress to the engine. if anything they (intake,header,exhaust) let the car breath easier. i'd say go for it and used the money you would have spent putting i/h/e in, on something else. there are no modifications to internal parts of this car and it's NA. i'd say to go check it out make sure they're doing a lot of oil changes because aftermarket intakes do tel more dirt into the engine with the higher flow of air. aslong as it looks clean and runs good go for it.

That is my favourite civic (year and body style) of all time. If it seems like a good deal I'd buy it up and fix whatevers wrong with it... that's how much I like that year/style . Just make sure it's not some stupid kid selling it.
