auto trans. stopped pulling

i have a 02civic,and the auto.trans. just stopped pulling.no noise,no slippin,fliud looks ok ,but does smell a little burnt. the reverse ,and all forwards just ,won't pull.Can anyone help ,please don't say, well looks like you need a new tranny. cause then its a yard ornament then.

If the fluid smells burnt, you might wanna first start by changing it and go from there.
