its a sweet interior, but the car is also $21,000 for a 93 horsepower hybrid engine. i mean its cool to have a car that will be so good on gas and whatnot, but for the price they had to do something different with it.

Well it's so expensive because it's new technology. You can't expect them to sell the hybrid at the same price as the non hybrid ones. I liked the interior a lot when I sat in it back in February.

i wasnt saying it, saying the price was too high, i was stating that with the new technology and the price, they would need to do something a little different on the interior of the car, so you get that different feel. i wasnt putting down the car in any way, was just giving my reasoning for the difference in interior.

okay i did the math at 1.50 a gallon

15000 miles a year at 30 mpg= 500 gallons ($750)
15000 miles a year at 50 mpg= 300 gallons ($450)

So buying the hybrid saves $300 a year in gas roughly... but then you're stuck with a car that has under 100 hp
Civic EX about $16000 new
Civic Hybrid ab $20000 new

Since the hybrid is offered in sedan auto trim use this price for the Ex: $18500. Suddenly the difference is not that much.
