Hey,

Ok, so I'm driving to work tonight, and while I'm on the freeway, going about 70mph, a car cuts me off heading for the exit, and nearly clips me because the guy mis judged a few things (1) guy in front braked (2) he couldn't swerve to other lane (right side towards exit) because a slow car was there.

Anyway, it was a near accident and I was thinking after that.... I have at least 1-2 near accidents a day.

That one was bad, but there are ALOT of others one, not so close and extremely close.

And its funny, because If I'm driving like a cautious "normal" person, its the same thing if I was driving agressive.

Driving in Los Angeles doesn't help, but its everywhere I go.

Sometimes, its my fault, most of the times its others.

So how many near accidents do you guys have each day or whatever.....

Yeah you dont have to watch how you drive, you have to watch how everyone else does. I hate it too, happens all the time, but I have been guilty of it one or two times as well.

I get a near accident at least once a week. Mostly because there are alot of bad drivers and also heavy traffic in Chicago. Yesterday a Semi-Truck was 10 ft. behind me. I had to speed to from 50-55 mph to 60-70 mph to avoid the truck on a highway. Most people that almost hit me are old people in thier Cadillac or Lexus.

near-accidents happen to me at least once a day! people at my school cannot drive. there's this small 2 lane road you have to go on in order to get onto one of the bigger roads that leads to the highways and the right lane is always congested so people go into the left and try to pass other people in the right w/o even signaling or anything. i'm surprised there hasn't been any accidents there... yet. oh and people are always going like 30 mph in the school parking lot instead of the posted 5 mph so it sucks backing out.

Just remember this. Any moron can drive a car straight. But a driver who knows what they are doing, can get out of almost anything).

I got 4 and all happened on interstate highways. Two times were big trunk who couldn't see me on the left right and just cut me off from left lane. I had to drive half way on the grass and half way on the road to avoid those big trucks. One other time was a teenager who did the same thing, she didnt even look before she cut me off and I was lucky to brake fast enough to avoid an accident. The last one was from a old couple who didnt see me on the exit ramp and try to exit at the same time. I avoid it but my car lost control and did a S style. I was lucky that I gained back control and able to keep the car straight again. People just like to cut me off or maybe it is a good idea to get neno lights all over my car and have them on all the time.

CANT TELL U HOW MANY TIMES IVE CREPT UP INTO A BUS OR TRUCKS BLINDSPOT eww caps and had them switch lanes, had to take the civic offroad a tad, pissed off but nothin u can do bout some of these $hit drivers, just gotta pay attention.

I would say about once every few months. Just a few weeks ago I was traveling about 55mph on a 2 lane road on my way to school. Some chick pulls right out in front of me and instead of having to slam the hay out of the brakes, I decide to pass her and punch it. Well, about 5 cars were coming in the opposite direction so I had to hit the brakes hard. I almost lost control of the car because I had to slam the brakes while steering back into the right lane. Stupid ****...she didn't even attempt to take off! Idiots!

I've had near accidents at work while driving to calls. People need to learn that flashing lights and a siren mean get out of the way so I don't have to drive like Mario Andretti.

exactly what i was thinkin when tryin to dodge people that decide to get retarded when behind the wheel. 2500 in damage....man, the anger I would feel....wow

Well, I had one already in my 2k1. That cost $2070 in repairs and I got $3695 from the insurance company.

I almost had one yesterday though. I was driving slowly, about 25mph and some high school girl pulls out of a side street not looking where she's going. She kinda stops, but I just stear to the left and pull around her. If I was going a little faster I would be looking for another CF hood and a new bumper.

ive had a few, one time in my 88 omni an old 80-something caravan/voyager almost smashed me into the median wall on a highway trying to change lanes right next to me. quite a few old people have pulled out right in front of me.. where are the cops when you need them[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG] damn old people that shouldnt be driving should get tickets for anything they do wrong, maybe that would get them off the roads

We can't be everywhere at once, theres only so many of us on the road at a given time. Rest assured, however, that if they always drive like that, the chances of a cop seeing them are very strong.

hhah alot most times it's not my fault i'm trying to get hit somewhere nice and get some type of custom kit added to replace since
i'm gonna bring my car to my shop for the insurance repairs.....if i ever get hit i'm gonna get a new paint job something different .......dont know what colour
yet but something different from the silver i got so many friends that have done that......

just as long as it isn't my fault i'm ready for it ....hope i dont get no deadly injuries.....like tha AIRBAG kicking my ***

My friend and I were driving on the left lane of a main two lane road, going about 50 (45 was the speed limit), now mind you there was a huge median left of us and a car on our right. We see lights in front of us, and before we know it a cop is going about 70+ in our lane coming toward us, this is the meaning of a split second decision! Thank God the car in the right lane had enough sense to pull over quickly so i switched lanes and avoided getting into a head on collision with a cop By the way, he was in my lane because the other side of the road (the correct side for him to drive on, hehe) was blocked my bumper to bumper traffic!
