The riceing of America...

Well I was fliping thru the pages of Popular Science when i came to the bottom of page 25. The article? "Don't get caught driving last years [car] fashions"

Lets start out with the "Outs" first
1. emerald and jade green *(maybe i guess)
2.taillight covers
3.T-tops and bubble sunroofs
4.Neon license plate frames.
5.Whale tails. (whats that?)

Not a bad list, even tho there would be better "outs" I can think of.

Now the funny part, the "IN"
1. medium to dark reddish blue
2. Altezza taillights!
3.Huge sunroof
4.Lighted windshield washer nozzles!
5.Adjustable racing style wings ...ie aluminum double wings

What a laugh! Who wrote this article?! Lighted nozzles, wing, altezza! Dang! Now before some of you flame me saying that some of those are not rice, I would like to add that this article didnt mention any thing about I/H/E systems etc, which increase performance. Isnt the "offical" definitions of rice is stuff that makes your car "look" fast but not? Well anyway, just thought I would mention what "main stream" america thought was "IN."

Im gonna write PS with a (negative) comment on this article. Hey join in maybe we can get them to admit that they shoulda put "turbo" or nitrous system on the list :} or at least larger rims/lowering.

ya..
a whale tail are those things of the back of old limos...haha

as for the I/H/E..you said that the article was about fashion...(i assume that means exterior styling)
if I/H/E is fashionalble....then me having better roughage in my system (by eating apples) and having better bowel movements is fashionable (not my clothes)
