banging up front end best thing that could happen
im driving home today from school, and this girl from my school is in front of me, going to same area as me. At a light it turns orange, and she steps on the gas like she is going to go through, so i downshift and step on it to make it. Well.... she decides to jam her brakes, and i slam her in the back. But the good thing is, i know her. So no cops, no insurance, money out of my pocket ( she doesn't have much damage anyway ). But now since my whole front end is banged up, I can get my new bumper, projectors, grill , and carbon hood.... Blessing in disguise... [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/IMG]

Rep Power: 0 not sure how much of a blessing that is...cus you still have to pay out of your own pocket..it would be better if someone hit you and it was their fault....

That is what I figured. So, it isn't really free. Anyhow, sorry about your dad. I knew you were young because you said you hit a girl from your school.
EDIT: Oh, and I don't mean young as in a 3 year old. I meant young to be getting Social Security LOL.
Also, it is hard to justify spending a few grand to mod any car. Maybe not financially but mentally. Now, he has a real reason to drop a few grand on something he didn't really need before.

Rep Power: 0 what i don't understand is why do you have to hit someone to get new stuff why did you not go ahead order the stuff you wanted and keep your factory stuff in case you trade your car in and then sell the aftermarket stuff so you could get some of the money back off the stuffyou ordered. just a thought it is cool though you are getting new stuff for your car.

SECOND - now that my front is banged up, i have to get new parts, and im not going to pay out the *** for oem hood when i can get decent carbon finber hood for a little bit more.

i got free dough for a tiny scratch on my bumper. heres how it happened
on the stop light.4 way. i was behind a van on the right lane(our way has 2 lane). she has signal to make a right... and she was half way prepare to make a right. suddenly she change and decided to reverse... being the stupid idiot that is she, she didn't look back and reverse on me. she made a nice scratch on my bumper(no dent). well i got a whupping $835 for it......
i wish i could get hit again on my bumper so i can get a kit to change the uglly scratch bumper....
btw if u look carefully on the front pic of my car in my profile. u can see the scratch mark that has been touch up but dirty...
