Car Insurance questions.

Anyone know anything i can do to get the cheapest insurance rates?

Here are the two cars I will be driving
'02 Subaru Legacy SE wagon (dads car)

Honda civic lx 4dr 1996 (my car)

Here was what I was thinking of doing, Getting insurance as an occational driver on my dads car, and primary driver on my car, and putting the deductable really high on my car in order to save 200-300$ a year on insurance, and pray nothing happens.

Anyone have any other sugestions on how i can get lower insurance rates?

Thanks.

Definately stay out of the tickets, good grades and keep things cheap till you hit 25 is the only things I can think of I would say have a beater you are insured on and have you parents on the good car too thats what some people do.

Easy..sign the car over to your dad.. have him as the Primary driver of both you as the occasional driver...Pay for his share of the insurance on your car...I Did this with my first and second cars.. saved me $1800+ year me as Primary Driver $3100....... My dad as primary me as secondary $1900 and change...
