[hr]
You read right. On my way home from work my odometer just turned 345,678.9 miles. On my 1982 Honda Civic 1300Fe of course. Ever stop to think that someday, that will be the 2k1 or 2k2 youre drivin' right now? Makes you wonder huh?
[hr]
Anyone else got a high milage Honda?[hr]

It's like a million miles on an accord coupe. That's the record. As far as my civic going that long, I'll sell it by then but through other owners it probably will go that long.

if he did oil changes every 3k miles or so, at $20 a pop, he'd have spent $13,333 just on that! haha...2 mil miles...sheesh!

That's not bad... if I had 4 ITR engines... I could have that car forever.

That's a lot of miles son but it is a honda so not surprised. I had my 93 accord to 146k with only one repair in its entire life and that was the replacement of the starter under warranty at 100k.

My car now has 9,600 miles on it. I drive it too much. I got it in November last year and I didn't have it for a month! That means i've had it for... 5 months. Yeah, I'm taking care of her. I'm gonna change her oil and filter @10k though she had it changed @8. (I'm doin this simply cuz I drive my car hard.) I'm not worried about it in the long run. Mom's 98 Prelude = 105,000 - no repairs whatsoever. Fluid changes, timing belt, tune ups,and valve lash checks. Still original clutch, brakes, alternator, battery, etc. One set of tires.

Oh yeah, the car has the same engine and tranny as when it was first bought. It's an old snowbirds car so it has some serious freeway miles on it. The only thing i've had to replace on it thus far are the tires and the wheel bearing. She runs like a top though. It's a shame it doesn't have a stereo in it, this way people wouldn't knock it so much. Oh well...
[hr]
The car with the highest milage that I've seen was that Acura Legend Taxi in Velocity (Honda Club's magazine) a few issues back. It had just turned 1,000,000 miles. I know it sounds unbelievable, but the moment I find that rag, I'll post it and show you guys. Unless someone already has it layin around....
