DIY interior trim pieces
im trying to get the piece off of the gauge cluster the little plastic round piece with the 2 screws in the top how the hell do you get that thing off it keeps getting stuck on the two little knoby thingies i tried a search but came up with nothing i could use i thought i saw a post on this earlier but couldnt find it any help???? please?

Mmmkay...
Basically I found the best way to remove this piece was to look under the steering column. There are like 3 screws that are in that cover around the column and you have to remove those. Then remove the piece around the streering column and you'll be able to get the piece outa the dash easier.
Bottom line...the cover (its in 2 peices) around the steering column is in the way and once you remove that you can get better access to the guage cluster (you can put your fingers under it, and remove it).
Can you manage or do you need pics?

Pull the cluster out and it makes it easier to get it off, and yea takin the shroud off the steering wheel makes it easier.. and people reallyare critical here .. search , proper puncuation ,
