Shaving eblem...
I know how to do it but im wondering if it will look faded.
I know its been posted a few times but i havent found a clear answer.
Will wax take care of this or were those people just not waxing?
If anyone has tips on how to take care of this it'd be greatly appreciated.
Btw, i've had my car for 6 months and its nighthawk black and i've washed it about once every 2 months.

uh no if you shave your emblems the paint underneath actually looks better than the paint around it, unless you take really good care of your car like i TRY to do F8CKING NJ

shouldnt be a problem at all. i used a hairdryer to heat up the adheasive and slowly removed the emblems. then i cleaned the area of any remaining adheasive and then put a little wax on the areas. turned out great. i love the look.
how did you get the car into the washroom to use the hair dryer

I can definitely sympathize. I'm in MD and we've had a waterban since November. I've had to rely on Jiffy Lube so far.

Duckor- Just take a blowdryer to the emblems and dry out the adhesive. There shouldnt be any fading. When you get the adhesive off just make sure you clean it real good. DONE
