where is the honda emblem put... choose from other two tone styles... like all one color up an down .. dif of sides an armrest? alos how much does proffesional installation usually cost? I dont wann spend more than 900 total
I am not so sure about these leather deals. The just dont seem to fit that well to me, I see wrinkles, and what seems to be looseness. Just doesn't have the quality look to me. and I LOVE leather, nothing like that smell, *sniiffffffffff* ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, leather.....Perhaps its just in the install, I dunno...

The emblem is put on the front of the front seat under the headrests (make sense?)
You can have one color or two- the second color is either the insert or outside color.
Any interior shop can install - with this price you would be well under $900. These kits list at the dealer for over $1200!!
The pics of mine are the day it was installed - the leather takes about 2 weeks to tighten. Even that day, it looks better than most OEM's. I can provide pics of it now almost a year later, looks awesome!!
This leather is better than any OEM, remember they buy from the cheapest bidder that week. Some other kits are cheapies that have very little leather. Katzkin is the only aftermarket supplier approved by the Automotive Lease Guilde and recognized by OEM's (Ford, GM, Chrysler and HONDA) as a quality product, including residualizing them in their factory leases. NO OTHER LEATHER MANUFACTURER can claim that. Only Katzkin can put leather in a car, and have the OEM lease it (Classic Soft Trim can't, nobody else can)
Hope this helps, sorry so long......

01CivicMike, i don't think you mean "better than OEM", you mean better than aftermarket.
my client is the producer of the OEM leather seats for Acura 1.7EL. they use the highest grade leather
in their production. (they also own the company which produces the leather and upholstery).
as far as aftermarket kits go, i've heard a lot of good things about katskin.

Alright, "any" is used where "most" should be - most OEM use whoever is the cheapest supplier that week and don't even stick with one supplier. They have many and take the lowest bid, like the military.
But yes, they are better than most OEM's and have proven better than any other aftermarket. They supply seats for OEM concept cars and speciality cars (Saleen Mustang w/ Recaro's for example)......

I have a question... Why does the Coupe kit fit so poorly, when your Sedan fits fine? Also Are those both just the OEM style kits (the coupe and sedan pics) as I notice the door panels haven't been replaced on either kit.

vokals : What kind of kit was it? And what did you pay for the car, because the dealership probably gave you a good "deal" on the leather, and made up for it through the car or your trade in.
Even JC Whitney's "vinyl" kits are more than that, and your dealer obvoiusly had to have it installed (couple hundred by itslef)
