Spanked a prelude
Ok heres what happened. I was on my way to my BF's house, just made a left turn and I noticed a car on my *** turning with me. He slowed way down and I was like ok...wtf??
Then out of nowhere this prelude flies past me!!!!! [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]
I was like whatever...i didnt pay any attention to him. Well, just my luck we catch the red light. He looks over at me and revs up. I was like OMG! He had a stock car with exhaust and maybe an intake. His weedwacker was so loud I really couldnt tell!
The light turns green and he took off. I wasnt going to race him then I was like fk it, so i floored it in second at about 5500rpm, hit 3rd and fly by him. THE RACE WAS OVER BY THE TIME I HIT THIRD GEAR!!!! I had already pulled him by about a car length and a half!!!!!!!
So I slowed back down to speed limit (40) and he flew by me as if we were still racing!!!!!!!!!!! All I could do was laugh. Then we cought up at another red light that he got stopped by and he wouldnt even look at me! I guess he was embarassed to lose to a girl!
This mst have been one of those really slow preludes cause arent preludes supposed to be fast???
Oh well..another 2k1 victory!!!!!

3 days ago I told everybody that I was side to side with an Accord 2002 V6 from 50 to 95 mph (I have a Coupe DX). Many persons didn't believe me. By the way... Congratulations!!!

She killed me in second, slowed down, looked over at me and laughed at me[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/IMG] she floored it again and KILLED me again. I felt like sh*t but once again Great race

BTW:There is a V6 MX-3 I thought it was just a ricey person like when a Civic LX or something has Type-R on it...How many hp does the MX-3 have???

Rep Power: 0 Yeah Im positive he was racing!!! I know it wasnt an si. It was just your basic prelude...nothing special.
Im suprised...last time I posted about a race I had all I got was a bunch of guys hating on me cause im a chick. All they said was girls cant drive, dont know how to shift...etc.
Thanks for being supportive everyone! And I (not to be conceited) am one of the few that does in fact know how to drive and shift!!! How about that!!! Im blonde and can do two things at once!!!!!!!

Rep Power: 0 LOL I have had a similiar experience. Im don't street race, period. I was coming back from the track (Bithlo for the Orlando guys) and was sitting at the light right before 417 on highway 50. A white 2000 Prelude (I asked the owner later what year it was) pulled up next to me. He said he saw me at the track and just wanted to run with me because we were both running against older Novas. I told him I keep it off the streets, but he still went for it anyway. God damn, that b*tch was fast. I have alot of butt time at the track and I have never seen a Lude in action. The rear end was shaven, but the guy did leave the DOHC VTEC badge on the rear. He told me later what model it was, but I forget. Made me consider trading my baby in... for like 1/2 a second. Then I remembered the fun is to build your car up to be fast, not just buy a fast stock and not be able to do anything with it because of the high payments. Only if Hondas didn't come with a warranty
