step guards?

anyone notice they get a lot of scuff marks at the place where u step out of your civic... like between the door and the seat on the floor... that plastic piece.... well i was at a honda dealer and there was this one civic on display with a body kit... and where the plastic piece was there was a metal grid thing that went over the plastic piece.... now where would i get one and what is it called? it would totally match my pedals..

I know what your talking about man, those things are nice. I've seen them for the 6th gen, but not for our cars yet. My friend has chrome one's the have "Civic" engraved in them.

but they were on the 2002 civics at the dealer... i asked the guy that worked there what they were called and he didnt know, he said some other custom shop had it done for them, the cars had xenon kit installed too... so anyone know what they're called? and i dont really want one that says civic... but as long as it fits i dont like scuff marks.. i even havesome on my door damnit i gotta be more careful...

i think i what he is talking about is called a door sill, and i believe they do make them for our cars, i have seen all chrome ones w/civic on them and ones that have civic that lights up neon blue, i'll post the links if i can find them....

i kinda just want them metal billet style.. i could care less if they say civic on them as long as they fit... and on ebay they're called door sills so both of u are right i guess

actually they're not door sills.. its the garnish cause the door sill is thinner and not where u step, its farther away from the seat
