Post LED and incandescent thread where to buy?

Hey guys. I've been looking for a good place to find LEDs and incandescents and I know there are a few sites that have been scattered about the forums, but there isn't really much of a list. Plus most websites are kind of hard to naviagate, so maybe there are a couple out there that can show us the way. So I'm going to make one so we have a point of reference.

So post up the best place to find incandescents or LEDs and as you guys add them I will edit this first post and add them to it: here are a few that I know of.

LED

1. DigiKey
2. Mouser Electronics
3. Jameco Electronics
4. Auto Lumination
5. Superbright LEDs
6. The LED Light
7. LED Supply
8. BestHongKong

FILAMENT

1. Matrix Racing
2. Racing Lab

I know it's frustrating when people say this, cause there's no solid link, but if you know what you're looking for, eBay is dirt cheap.

Yeah, ebay is always easy when you know what you are looking for. But in my case which prompted this thread. I have an LED. I don't know who the manufacturer is, but I like the output of it and want more just like it. Well, I have no idea where to look?

I know it's 5MM. I know that it needs a 561 Ohm resister for it to handle the 12V my car puts out, which math tells me its a 21ma LED. So other than that I need to find one that looks like it, or has the same output radius.

So my only hope as far as I can tell is to just browse through catalogs until I find them. Probably end up wasting some money by purchasing ones that aren't the exact same.

Re: LED and incandescent thread where to buy?

Autolumination.com is a great site, I've completely converted my civic to blue LEDS, all bought from there. Great guys and they ship fast ( but I'm only a state or two away from Arizona ).

Yeah, but in my experience their "kits" consist of just handing you the bulbs, some resistors, and some crappy instructions. You'd be much better off just buying the parts yourself, you really gain nothing from dealing with them.

Re: LED and incandescent thread where to buy?

lol true. i ended up wiring a full new array of leds anyway cause the single led replacement in the stock holders was way too dim.
