actualy they were intorduced in late 80, sold (not very well though) thought 81,82 and ceced production in mid 83.

Ah, the delorean. I saw one during Senior Week when I went and I was gawking at it taking pics. Then the owner hops in it and gave me the weirdest look ever like "why the hell are you looking at my car". All I could think when he did that was "**** its a delorean, what do you expect. I know I'm not the first person do ever do this...". Ha. And the license plate on the GT is awesome.

one of my goals in life is to get a delorean and dress it up like the one in back to the future. pre food processor/train wheels
put smoke bombs/smoke machines under the car. wear a radioactive protectant suit drive down the street pull the ebrake stop sideways smoke everywhere around the car, get out and yell WHAT YEAR IS THIS!!??? that would be awesome.
