since Honda CRV= Acura RDX, there has been rumors that Toyota is trying to put a slot for a compact Lexus SUV, a luxury RAV4 to compete with the RDX.

i've stumbled across this on the toyota japanese site.

obviously the "VANGUARD" as they call it is a RAV4 clone, so it does exist in japan. when you look at the model line up, there's still the regular RAV4. all i can say is HOT DaMN!!!! bring it here!

if that came out here as the comp for the rdx, id much rather get the rdx. rdx ftw imo.

but still, its a good looking car, if i wanted an suv, id buy an rdx, only for the turbo, but still if i had to get a toyota suv, thatd be it, its sleek, and farily sexy, good find

im not saying it's bad. it is nice. i just find it soft looking. acura made their car's aggressive looking, that's what i like.

imo.. honda/acura = aggressive. toyota/lexus = soft (aside from the IS)

don't get me wrong, i'm not bad mouthing them.
