Oxygen sensor????

What sensor is located on the intake? Because I took it out to put my Nitrous jet in the hole which was provided for the sensor. The jet needs to be 6 in away fromthe throttle body and after the sensor. But the cables on the sensor are so short that I am no able to replace the sensor on a different spot on the intake. - yes eventualy i will make cables longer - but till then I am driving with the sensor pulled out, and strangly enough i do not have any problems. What does the sensor do? does it need to be there??

Its not an oxygen sensor. I think its a intake pressure sensor or maybe a temp sensor. And with out it you are probably getting a little worse mileage

It's an air temp sensor. I'm surprised your "check engine" light isn't on.

it is a tempurature sensor. I saw a whole diagram, and step by step procedure in Honda Tunning Magazine when they were installing an NX system on a 2k1, but I'm not sure if it is necessary

probably it determines the density of air and what ratio of fuel should be added for the correct mixture, all this stuff with colder the air more oxygen particles. Hmmm it this case I better lenghten the cords and plce it before the jets, thx for help Beer frr everyone
