Re: Improve Torque
the best way to improve torque on an s2000?
first thing: swap in my d17 (i'll trade you for your f20 straight up!)
second: go on over to s2ki.com. I believe that they, being an s2000 forum, would be of better help than a bunch of us driving around in civics

Re: Improve Torque
you can improve "torque" by getting better gearing ratios. the stock s2000 has 4.10 ratios, the AP1 and AP2. If you want to, you can get 4.56 gears or even 4.77 gears. If you planning on boosting in the future, id keep your 4.10 gears in your garage or if you want, you can get 4.57 gears and just run with it. As for a supercharger on a s2000, most of them make decent power downlow but mostly power up top. Its curve actually looks like a turbos powerband.
in the end, what im really telling you to do is, get higher gearing ratios. The downside is that youll always be at higher RPM's. What kind of s2000 do you have? with a AP2, people have gained close to 40tq across the powerband by getting colder plugs and running greddy emanage ultimate.

Re: Improve Torque
i know...it's jsut the whole different type of car...s2000: sports car
civic: economy wanting to be sports car
i wasn't trying to be rude or anything...but the guys over at s2ki.com are always messing with their gears and such, at least it seems that way (whereas we don't cause most of the time it's not worth it)
