Haggle down a 2002 RSX Type S (Used)...or you could find an older Turbo car prob...or you could build a Hybrid Civic Hatch lots of possibilties in that range...but if you want NEW..Base RSX is in that range and has decent power, let alone SE-R Spec V.

All of Neo's suggestions are legit depending on the route you want to take. If the choice is completely yours (new vs. used) and speed is what you want, a toyota supra is a powerhouse of a car and one with fairly low mileage can be yours within that price range. It will be hard to find a $20,000 or $21,000 supra but with plenty of scavenging it is possible.

that's what I would get if it was my choice & money-my .02

happy hunting

Edit: id read my mind

get a 95 mustang, the last of the 5.0's, then with the cash you have left over, throw a vortech supercharger kit in with proper fuel and spark upgrades, then go kick some a$$........., tuned properly, you should be running 12's.......

the only reason I did not suggest the new Si is the price is outrageous.

With dealer markup being over 20k and frequently being 23k+, you can get a Type S for that much- better looks, more hp and other stuff im forgetting.

It's the true that the new Si's are probably marked up right now. But in 3-4 months I think that the price would go down.
