abandoned/stolen car at school
well a couple of friends and i were smoking cigarettes during break in the parking lot and noticed that a 91-93 model accord was/has been parked in the same spot for about a month and we decided to check it out. all the doors were unlocked hood had been popped and what looked like an sound system was missing. we got in to look at it and the ignition switch had been on the "on" position but there was no key. under the hood was acually a clean motor with a dc header 
. so we tried to get it to start and found out the battery was dead anyway. so now we are wanting to somehow start it and drive it around for fun. any ideas how to hotwire it or somethin? its an auto so u cant push start it. it would be kinda cool to just mess with. or if i had a nice money supply i would start restoring it and drop a nice h22 into it 
. anyways let me know.

why would you put money into a car thats not your, nor can you prove the ownership of the car..put money into it and let me know how the registration process goes

i wouldnt mess with the car if i were you. what if the car was used in a crime (such as bank robbery, murder, weapon). you can get yourself into deep **** with the police.

I reglarly visit a train station parking deck at my work with random cars parked forever there. they have a nice cake layer on top of them from just sitting around, and some of those cars usually have one or two tires that deflated from lack of rotation.
who knows, the cars could be abandoned or stolen. the owner may also just be using the lot for storage (station fees are cheaper than self storage garages) but i doubt it since these cars have been here forever and the bill must be astronomical by now ($60 monthly). my coworkers also have a theory that some owners are probably never coming back for their car, because one of these train lines used to go direct to the World Trade Center.

Congratulations! If that car was used in a string of robberies your prints are now on them! Now you have just directly linked yourself to possible crimes that you had nothing to do with, and could've prevented this by just minding your own business. If the car is a problem, then the owner of the lot would do something about it. Why in the hell would you just assume ownership of it and start "modding" it if it isn't yours?

yeah, don't do anything intelligent like call the cops and have them run the tag/vin to see if it's stolen. maybe there's a corpse and/or murder weapon in the trunk. maybe there's a million dollars?? why not check the trunk, too?? since your stupid *** has decided that just because it hasn't moved in a while, you can take it. it still has plates on it, so i find it very hard to believe it's "abandoned" it's probably stolen.

ok first of all some people need to calm down. i didnt say i was gonna "steal" it and drive around. because its there and the resource officer said it wasnt stolen and abandoned instead its more of somethin to do at lunch seeing if it would start for fun. as for the modding thing i said i had large amounts of money to throw around i would for fun. calm down. sorry i mentioned it
btw: IFFFFF we were to drive it, it wouldnt be on public streets. how about the parking lot?

it it's ok i 've been eyeing a porsche thats been abandened in the ally way bout 200 ft from my home. it's got 3 deflated tires, the seats are all cracked do to summer heat. and i odubt the car could move IF i could get it started. the brakes are rusted to hell and theres so many spiderwebs under it u cant see though the bottom.
oh and for the recored
