I drive a Civic coupe 2001 since november 2000. I raced against 2 or 3 Si 2000and have always won. Is there a so big difference in acceleration between the DX 2001 and the Si 2001?[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG]

i just came back from some races too.. beat a 6th gen civic.. prollie was EX.. he had exhuast.. and kit.. i dunno how i beat him.. not by much either.. he was at my door the whole time.. but i kept pulling... slowly.. the kit n stuff he got prollie weigh him down.. but it was fun

haha and i creamed a NEON too.. lol he had z fenders and a kit.. smoked him like a blunt

i had one real bad loss.. i lost to a total sleeper.. CRX... that car looked real beat up so i thght id pick on him.. lol he prollie had a motor swap cuz he pulled like a **** after switchin to 2nd..

2000 EX/Si is non-vtec...and has less torque than your car...you SHOULD beat it.
2001 EX/Si IS vtec and has the same amount of torque as your car. It WILL beat you unless it is driven by a poor driver.

Just because it dosnt say "VTEC" on the engine/valve cover dosnt mean it dosnt have it. All EX/Canadian Si's have VTEC.

civic SI 2000 here in uae has a DOHC engine 16v and a VTEC so if if you you can sitll beat that its up to your opinion, but dont be an a$$
