^ yes its starts. Its a legit motor. I would actually want to find a buyer that can be local so tehy can come and take a look at the motor in person. I would rather have a person see that i'm not shady and how legit the motor is. I can ship, but rather have local.
The motor is pending as of yesterday though. A guy put down 1800 as a downpayment right away. He has a few more days to finish payment

Hmmm, wonder if I can get another loan for $5k??
Anyway, nice to see this thread went to hell. You've made some stupid *** comments. Way to **** talk about Dezod. Enough said.
As far as your CF, I don't really see it looking good on a black car. I'd get the car painted. Paint varies, depending on type of paint, where you live, and what you don't mind leaving black, like door sills, etc. Also depends on who you know. But, for the love of god, don't get it silver. I have a silver car, and while I don't mind it, everyone else has a silver civic too. Go with something different, like blue.
I do not feel that getting CF for looks makes you a ricer, tho. By that logic, everyone that has a lip/aero kit is a ricer. As I understand it, they were designed to improve the aerodynamics of the car, and minimize the air flow under the car. Few people here are racing or driving fast enough to worry about that, and therefore, the vast majority of them have a lip kit for looks. Which according to the theory presented earlier, makes them ricers. I disagree. If you like the look of CF, and you have the cash, go for it. But I'd get the car painted first.

SExy engine. Personally I think a good deal is going to a junk yard. and then finiding a civic si or a rsx that is wrecked. WHat you then do is test the engine. If it is still valid. Buy the engine. DUDE U SAVE A Bundle. WHen my freind purchased a b18c from a junk yard he got it for like 700 dollars. And it was perfect. ITs just the car it was yanked out of was demolished!

Not a great idea. If the car is trashed, there's no way to test the engine before you buy it. You would be amazed how many people get in car wrecks, and leave their car running afterward. about a month ago, this guy rear-ended a jeep with a brand new chevy truck, and left his truck running. He was like "why are all these lights on near the guages?" His idiot lights for low voltage, and high temp were on. I looked under the hood, and the serpentine belt was knocked off by the impact, so he had no alternator, and no water pump. Good luck if you buy an engine that's been through something like that.

i dont think cf look bad on black. i think it looks better on other colors cause its more of a contrast. and who said that getting cf for looks is a rice. i think getting cf on our cars and expecting our cars to move faster cause we have cf is rice. im putting a cf hood and trunk on when ever i get some money and i am only doing it for looks. i dont care if my stock d17 will move faster and i dont expect it too. that my 2¢
CenZ, I totally agree with you. i personally got mine cause it looks sick, no one else around here had one, and it gets a little better airflow to my engine. I have noticed mine running about 20-25 degrees cooler and i live in TX lol
