Parts Catalog feedback requested

Hello all,

I am a programmer for a Honda franchise and was asked to put up a Honda Parts Catalog. I am looking for feedback on the site to see if it is a usefull tool for anyone. And what it might need to be a tool that a tech would keep in his toolbox.

The catalog can be found at the following address.

http://www.honda-parts-catalog.com

Please let me know what it needs...

Looks good to me, I don't see lip kits here under exterior accessories however. Or do you folks not sell these? I'm looking for the HFP kit myself.

on that front page, I'd like to be able to click on the car instead of have to pull it down from the menu, just easier that way... what would the point of the car pictures be if u cant click on them, for reference? Make them clickable.

When I select civic, 2001, 2dr LX, then it gives me four options 2 for auto, and 2 for manual... you should fix that.

And shoot, I'm always baffled when it asks me KA or KL, dont know what that is, and again, there are four options, 2 repeated twice.

I got an error message when I chose door locks

Now that I'm on door locks, I see a bunch of parts... How do I add parts to my pick list to buy? And the Zoom box, its way too small. I cant fit the outter door handle in the zoom box- It would be much more user friendly if I could.

The ads do a good job of blending into the GUI, I like that aspect. But the one add under "remove selected part" That add is outta place and I'd expect it to be a type of button that allows me to head to the payment option. But yet again, is this site ment to be functional to buy parts through?

Its pretty clean, professional looking. I'd strongly urge you to label that KA/KL option- no idea what that is- something in my vin number?

Another idea would be to have the next menu pull down after the previous menu item has been selected, to keep the flow going and save less clicks.

If thoes get fixed, then it'll be pretty nice.

Good stuff man! Good luck!
