How Big Is Enough!?
How Big Is Enough!?
I know this is old news but I was at a local "pimp my ride" shop where I saw (the attached) 28" rims. Honestly, do they even fit under anything? You can't tell me you'd want rims that big on a truck? 22's are perfect, 24's are okay but do we really need bigger than that?
They did draw me in with this badass Dodge (i'm a truck guy at heart but being in college and driving 40 miles a day...yeah, needed a cheap reliable car!). i would guess roughly 18" lift (which is too much for my taste but looked cool nonetheless) 22" rims w/ 40" mudders. It was (obviously) night so I didn't get a chance to look inside but other than monitors and audio I would guess there prolly wasn't much else done to it. On the back (in factory matched emblems) they had, instead of 4X4, 40X4...got a kick out of that. (btw, ICE is the name of the business)
That truck is what I mean though...22's are tasteful....but 26, 28????

I saw an h2 at a car show with 30's and a couple of my buddies have huge rims are their cars (not suvs, cars). One with 22's another with 24's and the third trying to get 26's on his car. They needed lift kits/chop the wheel well to make them fit. Their cars look rediculous to me but hey to each his own
I've seen an Expedition with 26's that look horrible but at the car show last year DUB had a Dodge Ram on 28s and it didn't look bad at all. I'll get the pic up in a bit.
Edit: Here they are, sry for crappy quality...they were taken with my RAZR

I like 24s on Suburbans, there was one at my old work and it looked good. It was black with 24s and it didn't sit like a 4x4 so it looked good and it had a system in the back I think, but it was off when I was parking it in the garage
