Secret Civic sighting
Took this pic at Torrance, CA today, which is where Honda R&D is located. It's a 8thgen Civic sedan with JDM Type-R rear wing, shaved emblem on the trunk, and Honda's Cali "3421" manufacturer's license plate. I guess it could testing outa possible USDM Type-R sedan or could be just a new HFP package. Sorry the pic is kinda blurry cuz its from my phone camera.

you should've followed the car and stalked it to death so you can see any emblems in particular i.e. TYPE R... maybe a stretch but who knows. my take is that it is the upcoming SI sedan with kit and wings ala A spec package OR just a random regular 06 civic with a kit and wing.

Rep Power: 0 i highly doubt its the type r. we are already getting the sedan si. no need for another civic in the line up. jeez we have coupe, coupe si, sedan, sedan si, ngv, hybrid... type r? i really don't think so, it would be civic overkill.

Just out of curiosity, what engine does the type-R have? The Si has a K20Z3, right? Throttle-by-wire and all that?

back on topic, i think it is a new honda factory performance kit. yeah, no reason for another civic version.
It could of just been some kid that modified it and traded it in on a new si sedan and a salesman is driving it. I use to work at an acura and salemans took the cars for the night and they do have dealer lisense plates. I'm just saying dont give your hopes up, far as i know it could be a HFP kit doubt a USDM Type R.
