Damn it man, you'll be one happy driver next month.
The more and more I see the 3 door hatch it looks better every time. Put some better rims and a body kit on and your almost in Civic Type-R country. At least you got a better engine for modding than our D17.
I'm thinking of trading my Coupe LX for a Type-R (we have them here in Europe). We don't have the Si or the RSX-S. And modding a D17 with parts only available in the US is gonna be very expensive. So the CTR seems like my only option, even though I like coupes more then hatches. I still think Honda should've made the CTR a coupe.
Anyway, good luck with your new hatch. Just don't leave it stock
and post pics when you get it.

maybe i will leave it stock for a few months need to save up some money to hook it..and i don't know how many parts there are gonna be for this car...cause it seems like not that many dealers are goin to be having them...i just hope mines come in soon....if the had a CTR in the states i would have gotten that instead....
At first, i didnt like the new SIs but then i sat in one at a car show and man i loved it. I hope i can test drive one here if the dealers dont sell them right away. You'll definitely have to lower it though.
<< if the had a CTR in the states i would have gotten that instead.... >>
I'm sure you would. I'll make you a deal. You get the RSX-S, I'll get the CTR and we'll swap.
You then become the first CTR owner on this site, and I'll get kicked off
Im gonna wait to see if everything I've heard (from someone with Honda of america, not some magazine BS.) is true. I was told that they will bring the type R to America, but there will be no formal announcement until summertime. If so, I want one in black.
Nah man don't hold your breath for the CTR. It ain't gonna be here anytime soon (if at all). Anyway to all the people saying they want the Type R in a coupe, it's not going to happen. And IMO it shouldn't happen. As pointed out in other threads, the Type R and the Si was never in a coupe except in 99-00 in North America. That was the only time.
Hatches are what built Honda, and it's what they should keep making.

<< oh yeh the new si comes with 15's dont the 99-00 come wwith 16's?? well i guess its a hatch so they dun put as large wheels on them..... >>
Hmmmm...no, I think the 99-00 SI's had 15's as well. But they weren't hubcaps...on a black rim. They were Rims...aluminum i think.

just be prepared...that red badge is a magnet for ricers and racers..
it might just be a drivers race but if you see an older Si on the street I wouldn't go racin right away..

I ordered one early October (put 7 grand down) right after I sold my 93 Si hatch. Apparently here in Canada, we also get Milano Red as a colour option. But there is a catch...Canada will only get 35 white SiR's. Which is cool cause I've got my name on one of them!
I've also ordered Ground Control coilovers and 17" Tenzo Shu-4's in White. I'm gonna hold out on a body kit until there's at least a few to choose from.
Good luck with the new car ricerocket.....I'm as hyped as you are!!!!
Oh yeah one more thing....You think waiting a month is bad????? By the time I get mine it'll be 7 months waiting!!!! What makes it even worse is, I've been driving a winter beater (87 toyota tercel) since I sold my last Civic! ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!! going nuts here.
